Story of the Work

This cycle is rather autobiographical and sociocritical. In the last few months I have had encounters with a number of people who act out their feelings egocentrically and unthinkingly, without even considering the other person. People who only see themselves, their perspective, their needs. “Me, me, me” and very often combined with brusque manners.

One morning I woke up with a feeling I didn’t understand at first. I went deep and I realized that I lacked tenderness.

For me, tenderness is an expression of love and can be conveyed in many forms. Be it in loving gestures, in favors, in words, in touches, in good company, in showing respect, through the eyes.

These three works radiate different forms of tenderness. I created them for people who sometimes feel like me. But also for people, for whom I hope that the radiance of tenderness is contagious.
