This work deals with the four elements of water, air, earth and fire. Each element tells its own story and presents its inherent characteristics. But at the same time all four elements are connected. Not only in the center through their symbols, but also in the shapes and lines that transition from one element to the other.

The theory of explaining the world in terms of the four elements, although scientifically long outdated, nonetheless invites us to reflect, to understand that everything is connected, that nothing stands alone. Be it in nature, in politics or in human relationships. The interaction of different elements always causes an effect.

In our nature, the encounter of elements creates life, destroys life and creates life again. The earth absorbs the water of the rain, plants grow, trees bear fruit. A fire, once sparked, burns stronger the stronger is the wind (air), sparks are carried through the air and spark off a new fire. The wind causes water to rise in the form of waves that can travel many kilometers. They pick up a coconut, carry it away, drop it on a beach on another island, and a new coconut palm grows.

The subject of the feminine and masculine element is not easy, as there exist many prejudices.

For me there are more similarities than differences. A lot lies in the upbringing, be it in the family or in society itself. Old beliefs or conservative traditions are passed on unchecked from generation to generation. Even in adulthood, one is strongly influenced by stereotypical ideas by the media – mostly unconsciously.

In addition, every person carries both elements, which are individually less or more pronounced. And these manifestations also change with age, in different phases of life or situations.

On the physical level, of course, there are clear differences. I couldn’t resist doing a little educational work here, as I’m always amazed at how little people of the same sex know about their bodies and their inherent beauty.
