Story of the Cycle
Many cultures know wishing trees, to which papers or fabrics with sayings are attached. The wind is then supposed to carry these wishes out into the world to make them come true.
But these images are representing family trees, our ancestors as well.
What could we wish for from our ancestors that would help us in our lives in today’s zeitgeist? I thought of love (self-love and love for others), (ability of) being happy, wisdom, courage and strength, practical skills and abilities. And stars as points of orientation, as symbols for hope and inspiration and as light in the darkness.
The golden background represents the abondance, provided by our ancestors and within ourselves, that we simply need to access.
