The story begins with: Once upon a time there was an old, slightly dirty lamp that I came across.
Actually, my goal was to give her a little attention and to clean her. But then I had a kind of intuition. The lamp was missing a bit of life and color. And so I created a new design for the lampshade.
I had so much fun with this little project that I felt like designing lamps as product lines. So in Guadeloupe I was looking for table lamps that had to meet four criteria. They should be modern and timeless. Inexpensive. I can apply my design to the lampshades with acrylic paints. And the lamps should be able to be packaged in such a way that they are suitable for transport and shipping. And voila, I was very lucky to find the “Gong” lamp from atmosphera.
In this way, I can give people a little pleasure with an inexpensive piece of art that serves as a lamp at the same time, creating a warm and playful atmosphere.
